Meet our Lead Pastors

Rodney & Gina Richardson

Rodney and Gina have served in ministry for the better part of 40 years. During that time, they served in various positions (teacher, counselor, outreach, women/men ministry, preacher). They were both born and raised in the Sunshine State of Florida, here they met in January 1988 when Rodney began attending Philippian Community Church where Gina was a member. It was God at first sight! They were engaged in February, and married November 5, 1988. During that time, Rodney was serving in the Navy and they received orders to Hawaii in 1990 where they resided for 28 years. It was during this time that God intensified the call to Ministry on their lives. In 2002, they received a Prophetic Word from God that Rodney would have a “great and strong calling on his heart to pastor and he will pastor with a real shepherd’s heart.” The Lord spoke to Gina and said “you will have a heart for intercession with a great release of passion and compassion.”

Rodney holds two Bachelors; one in Theology and one in Psychology. Gina has a certificate in Theology. She is also a Certified Natural Health Professional and is currently studying to become a Natural Health Practitioner. Rodney and Gina have an insatiable passion for marriages; to see husbands and wives achieve success in their relationship. Having been married for 30 years, they focus on equipping couples with the necessary tools to have a successful marriage.

Rodney and Gina are driven by a God-given desire to see people live victoriously in every area of life. Their heartbeat is to lead people into a passionate pursuit of God through worship, prayer, sound teaching and “waiting on God!” It was this desire and the direction of God that led them to relocate from Hawaii after 28 years to Aurora, Colorado to launch Place of Victory Ministries.

What We Believe

Our Core Values

S.I.L.E.N.T. Don’t just TALK about it, LIVE it out LOUD!

We believe our lives are meant to be spent on helping the unchurched, de-churched, and churched see Jesus and discover His abundant life. “Now, even though I am free from obligations to others, I joyfully make myself a servant to all in order to win as many converts as possible.” (1 Cor 9:19)
We believe the doors of the church community should be open to everyone. ”For here is the way God loved the world—He gave his only, unique Son as a gift. So now everyone who believes in him will never perish but experience everlasting life.” (John 3:16)
We believe love is the identifying mark of true discipleship and should come through in our daily lives. ”For here is the way God loved the world—he gave his only, unique Son as a gift. So now everyone who believes in Him will never perish but experience everlasting life.” (John 13:35)
We Believe every Child of God is precious in His sight. “So may we never be arrogant, or look down on another, for each of us is an original. We must forsake all jealousy that diminishes the value of others.” (Galatians 5:26)
We believe the Body of Christ is one body with many unique members. ”Now you [collectively] are Christ’s body, and individually [you are] members of it [each with his own special purpose and function].” (1 Corinthians 12:27)
We believe the Gospel brings new life by correcting the old order of living. ”Now, if anyone is enfolded into Christ, he has become an entirely new person. All that is related to the old order has vanished. Behold, everything is fresh and new.” (2 Corinthians 5:17)
